Beauty and the Beast- After school Discount Tuesday
March 28, 2017 @ 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Cinemark Movies 14, 3200 Naglee Rd, Tracy, CA 95304, USA
I know this is a couple weeks after the movie comes out, but it's the first Tuesday I have available. Plus maybe the theater will be a little less crowded. 🙂 There's a showing at 4:45 on the previous Tuesday, so I'm just assuming that it'll be 4:45 on this Tuesday. I'll update it if needed!
I'll get tickets ahead of time so we're all sitting together. Just pay me back $5.50/ticket when we all see each other at the theater. Or if it's easier, you can pay online to either Square Cash or PayPal to email@example.com
If you're coming, please comment below with the number of tickets you need. Husbands welcome, of course! Mine is leaving work early just for this lol
March 29, 2017 @ 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm
See FB event page for address
This is exactly the same class as the playdate the following morning (3/30)! So please choose one - either MNO or playdate - and you'll still get starter to take home and bread to munch on. Although of course, we'll be kid free this evening!
Infants always welcome at MNO!
I'll be teaching you guys a bit about sourdough. While I am far from a baking expert, I've consistently made sourdough goodies (mostly bread) over the past few years. We'll start at step one, feeding a starter, all the way to making loaves of bread. Everyone gets starter to take home!
***If you'd like to take some starter home, please bring a container to take it home in. Glass is ideal. A mason jar with a lid is a great, easy choice! I personally use a quart size mason jar with a plastic lid, but you can bring a half quart size or smaller. I'll just be giving out a tiny bit that you'll need to feed when you get home.***
March 30, 2017 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am
This is exactly the same class as the MNO the prior evening (3/29)! So please choose one - either MNO or playdate - and you'll still get starter to take home and bread to munch on.

April 6, 2017 @ 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Raluca's house-see event page for address
This decadent treat looks amazing when you present it to guests.
It freezes very well and can be the trick you have up your sleeve should unexpected guests arrive:)
Thank you to Raluca for hosting this non-bake "baking event". I love it already! It's just what the busy mom needs:)
Feel free to bring a drink to share.

We are reading The Baker's Daughter by Sarah McCoy.
Hope to see you all there!
"In 1945, Elsie Schmidt is a naive teenager, as eager for her first sip of champagne as she is for her first kiss. She and her family have been protected from the worst of the terror and desperation overtaking her country by a high-ranking Nazi who wishes to marry her. So when an escaped Jewish boy arrives on Elsie’s doorstep on Christmas Eve, Elsie understands that opening the door would put all she loves in danger.
Sixty years later, in El Paso, Texas, Reba Adams is trying to file a feel-good Christmas piece for the local magazine, and she sits down with the owner of Elsie's German Bakery for what she expects will be an easy interview. But Reba finds herself returning to the bakery again and again, anxious to find the heart of the story—a story that resonates with her own turbulent past. For Elsie, Reba’s questions are a stinging reminder of that last bleak year of World War II. As the two women's lives become intertwined, both are forced to confront the uncomfortable truths of the past and seek out the courage to forgive."
