Activities for Kids

Lots of Activities!

The MHMC recognizes the need to provide regular opportunities for the socialization of children, both within their age group and with children of other ages, as well as the need for parents/caregivers to spend time with other adults.  We offer a broad array of activities that change from month to month and year to year.

Upcoming activities are posted on our Facebook page and can only be viewed by members.  To inquire about upcoming activities before joining the MHMC, please email our Activities Chair at mhmcactivities@gmail.com.

Age-Specific Playgroups

The MHMC offers facilitation of weekly Age-Specific Playgroups for our current members.  After joining the Mothers’ Club, members can submit a request for a group that suits their children’s needs and availability.

Crafts

We organize at least one craft for toddlers and preschoolers every month.  Often the craft is related to a theme that month (such as winter in January, or St. Patrick’s Day in March).

Outings

There are multiple opportunities for our kids to venture out of Mountain House, and we like to take advantage of them!  Museums, hiking, and much more are offered throughout the year.

Park Playdates

When the weather cooperates, we make frequent trips to our local parks. All members and their children of all ages are always welcome.

Holiday Activities

A couple of the popular annual activities we offer our kids include a Halloween Carnival and Gingerbread House Decorating. We have other annual activities that include the whole family, like our camping trip and summer picnic.
